About Jeff Sorenson
Jeff Sorenson started playing drums at age eleven, playing professionally with local and regional bands in the Milwaukee and Chicago areas. By sixteen, he already played with many multi-platinum groups and artists. To further his understanding of music, he attended the University of North Texas’ College of Music on scholarship. He became adept at performing and recording with artists across genres, including Rock, Country, Funk, R&B, Pop, Latin, and Jazz.
As a studio musician, Jeff has recorded with such producers as David Foster, Randy Spendlove, Jorge Vivo, Shane Mack and Pete Anderson. Jeff currently plays with the country bands The Rob Staley Band and Dawson’s Gang, the alt-rock group Dead Letter Perfect and he tours nationally with The Pete Anderson Trio, playing Jazz-based blues.
