Drumsmack TV Episode 13 - Chad Sexton, Randy Spendlove & Rich Redmond

Drumsmack TV Episode 13: Randy Spendlove, Linda McDonald, Chad Sexton, Jeff Sorenson, Mac Sexton & Michael Murphy

Tonight we were joined by Chad Sexton, Randy Spendlove & Rich Redmond. We figured out the best way to wake up a 3 year old (what??), then Linda mentioned the upcoming gigs in the area. Joining us live from Nashville via Skype, Rich Redmond (drummer for Jason Aldean) talked about inspiring the next generation of drummers through his CRASH Course for Success. President of Motion Picture Music at Paramount Pictures (the ultimate Music Supervisor) and producer, Randy Spendlove, shared stories of putting together his “dream band” while working on scores for big Hollywood movies. And not only did Chad Sexton take calls from 311 fans in Hawaii and the OC, but he also broke down the genesis of his signature sound. Make sure you tune in, comment and share this episode with friends!

Great interview with a fabulous musician and teacher who happens to also be a multi-talented drummer. For a fact I know that Rich can put a beat with just about any genre of music. His positive personality is the engine for his awesome CRASH course which I have had the good fortune to have experienced.

Awesome interviews overall!! I am a big fan of 311, look forward to the Chicago show on the 3rd at the new Charter 1. But DUDE, on the outro, did you call him Mac Sexton lol. Or is that a family member? I edit a lot of scripts and pages and pick up on glitches. It kinda sucks watching special effects or certain videos & pics because I always notice, or know how it’s not real lol. Anyways, awesome show, I look forward to tuning in again!
